Some months ago, Hillary From "Entropy always wins", started a project as a plea against the use of "nude" to describe the color of the dresses on a designer's collection. This had me thinking. Truth be told, Hillary always gives me food for thought

My children use this crayon to paint all the skin in their drawings, they call it "carne" which is the equivalent, more or less, of "nude".
But do you think this color truly represents the color of skin? Certainly not mine, nor theirs, nor that of their school mates from Pakistan, Africa or the gypsies'...
Bearing this in mind Hillary started this project in which different people from all origins would do a paper foundation block with Carolyn Friedlander's pattern "shirts"
In it we would represent the color of our skin, and that's where the difficulty arouse. I involved two other friends and searching the fabrics to do it, the fact that definitely #nudeisnotadresscolor hit us right on our faces.
